Director of MEAL

Responsibilities

• Oversee MEAL frameworks, indicators, and measurement plans across countries
• Own and refine the Theory of Change to align monitoring and evaluation with learning outcomes
• Develop and maintain Master Data Management (MDM) definitions, standards, and reporting rhythms
• Lead the development of dashboards, performance reports, and analytic models for delivery teams
• Oversee statistical analysis, segmentation, forecasting, and experimental design
• Translate data insights into clear narratives and visualizations for leadership, donors, and government stakeholders
• Build organization-wide data literacy and mentor staff in data analysis and strategic thinking

Requirements

• Honours Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science, MEAL, or related fields (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in data-related roles
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role implementing enterprise data management interventions
• Proven experience in data management and working with impact metrics
• Experience building data-driven cultures and working with remote/hybrid international teams
• Proficiency in data analysis, data cleaning, and data quality frameworks
• Strong communication and storytelling skills for technical and non-technical audiences

• Experience working in the non-profit or social sector
