Director of National Accounts, Food Safety & Quality

Responsibilities

• Support food safety and quality strategies for National accounts within the Fresh Division
• Act as a primary liaison and consultant for client FSQA teams and executives
• Manage client food safety needs including substitute supplier reviews and claims management
• Lead and manage the Food Safety Project Manager
• Align with clients on key food safety initiatives and provide technical expertise for specification development
• Ensure clients are informed of material changes in food safety policy and regulations
• Participate in recurring client engagements both virtually and in person

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a food safety role, preferably in Produce, Meat, or Seafood
• 5+ years of experience in a processor/distributor facility or within a National Foodservice organization
• Strong supply chain knowledge including distribution, logistics, procurement, and manufacturing
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and ERP systems
• Demonstrated project management and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and group presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in food science, safety, or related studies
• Experience on the supplier, distributor, or client side of the foodservice industry
