Director of Product Management

Responsibilities

• Partner with the VP of Product to build and scale the product organization
• Support and execute the long-term product vision across air, land, and sea domains
• Maintain and execute the master capability roadmap in partnership with the VP of Product
• Establish and maintain product development standards including PRD quality and requirements development
• Engage directly with customers and warfighters to capture operator needs
• Drive alignment across Engineering, Mission Operations, and Go-to-Market leadership
• Lead build/buy/partner decisions and evaluate emerging technologies
• Own portfolio-level OKRs and success metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 8+ years
• Proven experience leading and managing product or systems engineering teams
• Deep experience delivering complex technical integrations across hardware, software, and payload systems
• Demonstrated success owning product strategy and roadmaps for defense or dual-use autonomous systems
• Experience developing and managing requirements at capability and portfolio levels
• Experience with AI/ML tools, product design, and testing methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with external suppliers and strategic partners

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of payloads, communication systems, and advanced technologies across air, land, and sea domains
• Experience with DoD systems, Command and Control (C2), and/or ISR platforms
• Experience scaling a product organization within a fast-paced defense technology or dual-use startup
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive clarity across teams
