Job description
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow Squishable’s wholesale sales channel through strategic planning and account acquisition
- Lead and develop an internal sales team of six to eight professionals
- Build inside sales strategies, including outreach programs and incentive structures
- Manage and train independent sales representative teams
- Grow the domestic customer base through specialty, national, and mid-tier retailer relationships
- Manage 10-15 national and international trade shows annually
- Formulate and execute European growth strategies, including recruiting distributors
- Coordinate with production and sourcing teams to optimize product selection for international markets
- Work with product development to create new lines and product concepts
Requirements
- Wholesale sales experience within the specialty toys or gifts industry
- Proficiency with CRM/ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus)
- Experience building actionable reports and presenting KPIs to executive teams
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with in-store merchandising, including end-caps and Plan-o-grams
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing
- At least eight years of successful toy or consumer products sales experience
- Ability to travel up to 50%

- Experience operating internationally directly or through international distribution agreements
