About the Company

ShopMy is transforming e-commerce by building the infrastructure for human-led curation at scale. We help brands run performance-driven creator programs while enabling top creators to monetize their influence and partner directly with the brands they love.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead ShopMy's earned media strategy across various channels
• Identify stories, audiences, spokespeople, and channels including traditional press and podcasts
• Maintain and develop relationships with influential reporters in business, tech, marketing, and lifestyle media
• Develop thought leadership platforms and prepare founders for interviews and speaking engagements
• Transform proprietary insights and product launches into media moments
• Manage crisis communications and inbound press inquiries
• Scale the PR function by managing external agencies and hiring junior talent

Requirements

• 8-10+ years in communications with a specialty in earned media
• Strong media relationships in business/trade, creator/tech, or consumer/lifestyle sectors
• Exceptional writing skills for pitches, briefs, and social content
• Experience in technology, fashion, beauty, retail, or the creator economy
• Ability to set high-level strategy while remaining hands-on with execution
