Director, Product Design

Responsibilities

• Set product vision, design new features, and enhance existing ones
• Establish scalable UX/UI patterns across platforms
• Lead and manage the product design team while contributing directly to high-level design work
• Guide high-level strategic decisions around product design and experience
• Contribute to the entire product lifecycle from IA and user journeys to wireframes and handoff
• Lead the IxD stream of work and break large projects into manageable tracts
• Partner with Strategy, Production, and Development disciplines
• Build strong client relationships and understand business needs
• Manage and mentor designers of all levels to help them chart career paths

Requirements

• Extensive Product Design and interaction experience in agency or related environments
• Experience designing iOS/Android native applications, websites, and internal tools
• Design Leadership experience across the full product design lifecycle
• Proven experience collaborating with and presenting to executive leadership
• Experience delivering user-focused solutions in categories like Financial Services, Telecomm, or Consumer tech
• Experience working in agile product design/development models
• Experience managing and mentoring Junior to Senior level product designers
• Experience designing AI-enabled features, vibe coding, and rapid prototyping
