Job description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and execution of a multi-regional development strategy to meet annual fund development targets
  • Drive new revenue growth from institutional funders, primarily corporations and foundations, across California, the Pacific Northwest, and Utah
  • Translate national development strategy into executable regional plans
  • Achieve annual new revenue targets of $500,000–$600,000 from corporate and foundation sources
  • Partner with regional Executive Directors and national leaders to secure new funding opportunities
  • Provide strategic oversight, coaching, and support to regional development staff
  • Use data to inform decision-making and identify trends to maximize return of effort

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising
  • Demonstrated success in securing and managing six-figure gifts or multi-year funding
  • Proven track record of executing fundraising strategies across multiple regions
  • Experience collaborating across departments and coaching fundraising staff
  • Strong background in pipeline development, forecasting, and performance monitoring
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
