Job description

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Payer sales executives to achieve annual revenue, renewal, and retention objectives
  • Develop and implement payer-focused sales strategies to expand market share within health plans and payer organizations
  • Forecast sales performance and analyze market data to drive business results
  • Manage sales metrics, pipelines, and CRM tools effectively
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Product Management, and Finance
  • Oversee payer-focused RFP responses and coordinate cross-functional resources
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with payer entities
  • Recruit, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of sales executives
  • Implement AI-enabled tools to enhance sales effectiveness and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in enterprise software, healthcare technology, or healthcare services sales
  • At least 5 years of experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams
  • Significant knowledge of the healthcare payer market and managed care organizations
  • Knowledge of evidence-based clinical guidance and utilization management processes
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, sales analytics, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel up to 60% to client sites and industry events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools for sales planning and customer engagement
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management
  • Strategic thinking and ability to identify market growth opportunities
