Job description
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Payer sales executives to achieve annual revenue, renewal, and retention objectives
- Develop and implement payer-focused sales strategies to expand market share within health plans and payer organizations
- Forecast sales performance and analyze market data to drive business results
- Manage sales metrics, pipelines, and CRM tools effectively
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Product Management, and Finance
- Oversee payer-focused RFP responses and coordinate cross-functional resources
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with payer entities
- Recruit, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of sales executives
- Implement AI-enabled tools to enhance sales effectiveness and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- At least 10 years of experience in enterprise software, healthcare technology, or healthcare services sales
- At least 5 years of experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams
- Significant knowledge of the healthcare payer market and managed care organizations
- Knowledge of evidence-based clinical guidance and utilization management processes
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, sales analytics, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel up to 60% to client sites and industry events
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools for sales planning and customer engagement
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management
- Strategic thinking and ability to identify market growth opportunities
