Job description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop Managed Transportation business development efforts through 100% hunting activities to meet or exceed revenue goals
  • Build and manage a customer pipeline and develop global go-to-market strategies
  • Develop complex proposals and negotiate/close high-value contracts
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support and scale the Managed Transportation practice
  • Collaborate with internal product and development teams to advocate for customer needs and product feedback
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage leads, opportunities, and real-time customer status
  • Develop "Land and Expand" strategies to drive future growth of Redwood Logistics products and services
  • Represent the company as a domain expert during customer interactions and industry events

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales experience within the logistics or supply chain industry
  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS, technology, or managed transportation disciplines
  • Proven track record of delivering on sales quotas
  • Experience with 3PL solutions and/or operations
  • Proficiency in Salesforce
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Ability to travel to customers and partners as needed
