Director Strategic Sourcing

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide sourcing strategies across clinical and non-clinical categories
• Lead category management activities including spend analysis and market assessments
• Drive product rationalization and clinical standardization initiatives
• Achieve annual cost savings and cost avoidance targets
• Manage, mentor, and develop a professional team of sourcing and contracting staff
• Develop strategic supplier partnerships and govern vendor performance using data-driven scorecards
• Mitigate supply chain risk through diversified sourcing and contingency planning
• Enforce contract compliance and departmental governance processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement
• At least 5 years of formal supervisory experience managing professional staff
• Proficiency with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Experience with healthcare ERP infrastructure such as Workday, Lawson, or Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree (MBA, MHA, or similar)
• 12+ years of progressive healthcare supply chain leadership experience in complex systems
• CMRP, AHVAP, or CPSM certification
