Director, Strategy and Operations

Responsibilities

• Project-manage active M&A end to end, including diligence coordination and post-close integration
• Run the annual and quarterly planning cadence and turn decisions into tracked operating plans
• Drive the company’s value-creation roadmap and ensure cross-functional readiness
• Build business cases and perform new-market assessments to inform strategic bets
• Drive important cross-functional initiatives to completion and maintain a single source of truth for priorities
• Build reporting discipline, processes, and operating rigor to scale the business

Requirements

• Deep experience in consulting, banking, corporate development, or strategy combined with an operating role
• Exceptional program management skills with the ability to impose structure on ambiguity
• Strong commercial and financial fluency, including SaaS metrics and unit economics
• M&A or integration exposure (diligence, planning, or post-merger integration)
• Outstanding executive-grade written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work discreetly with sensitive financial and strategic information
• AI-forward mindset, leveraging AI tools to increase efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• PE-backed or high-growth SaaS experience
• Exposure to a full M&A or transaction lifecycle
• Vertical SaaS or field-service / SMB software background
• Familiarity with PE sponsor reporting and exit-readiness expectations
