About the Company

Moniepoint Inc. is Africa’s all-in-one financial platform, helping 20 million businesses and individuals access seamless payments, banking, credit, cross-border, and business management tools each month.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, log, and manage disputes from merchants, banks, partners, and internal teams
  • Investigate transaction disputes including failed debits, duplicate charges, and unauthorized transactions
  • Handle international and domestic chargebacks (Mastercard, VISA) in line with scheme rules and timelines
  • Manage representment and pre-arbitration processes
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify system, partner, or routing issues
  • Liaise with banks, merchants, and processors to resolve disputes
  • Maintain dispute trackers and prepare weekly/monthly reports

Requirements

  • Strong investigative and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to interpret transaction logs and reports
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Understanding of transaction life cycles
  • Ability to work under strict timelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in payments operations, disputes, or customer operations
  • Knowledge of card schemes such as VISA and Mastercard
  • Experience in Fintech or banking
