Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate code assignments for ED records (facility and profee)
  • Meet client productivity targets
  • Maintain coding quality of 95% or greater
  • Maintain a committed regular schedule with reliable and punctual attendance

Requirements

  • AHIMA or AAPC certification
  • Minimum of three years of experience coding ED records in an acute care setting
  • Technical competency with VPN, multi-factor authentication, and video conferencing
  • Proficiency with Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to change
