Electrical Engineer Expert

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority for electrical systems on hyperscale and mission-critical data center projects
• Shape and influence medium and low-voltage power distribution strategies, including campus distribution, switchgear, UPS systems, and emergency power
• Develop electrical system architectures supporting reliability, scalability, and uptime requirements
• Establish electrical design standards, basis of design narratives, and best practices
• Lead technical QA/QC reviews to ensure code compliance with NEC, NFPA, and IEEE
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to align technical solutions with redundancy strategies (N, N+1, 2N)
• Support commissioning and field efforts by resolving complex technical challenges
• Mentor and develop engineers to elevate technical capability across teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 12+ years of electrical engineering experience, specifically in data center or mission-critical facility design
• Expertise in medium- and low-voltage systems, redundancy strategies, and power quality
• Proven ability to lead complex technical efforts and advise project teams
• Strong communication skills for translating complex technical concepts
