Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design and Development: Create electrical designs for robotic systems, including circuit design and integration of sensors and actuators.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical components into robotic systems.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct rigorous testing of electrical systems within robots, diagnosing and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Programming: Develop and implement software for controlling robotic systems, utilizing programming languages such as C++, Python, or ROS (Robot Operating System).
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, tests, and modifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics technology to continuously improve system performance and efficiency.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in robotics engineering or a similar role, with a focus on electrical systems.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for designing electrical circuits.
  • Strong understanding of control systems and automation technologies.
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded systems.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with machine learning applications in robotics.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to robotic systems.
