Responsibilities

• Review patient records, clinical documentation, and administrative data to determine program eligibility
• Manage requesting, faxing, and tracking medical records from external providers
• Ensure HIPAA and privacy compliance during the record collection process
• Maintain professional communication with patients and colleagues to provide updates throughout the eligibility process

Requirements

• Active Medical Assistant Certification
• Experience in medical record review and collection
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• At least 1 year of experience in a primary care, endocrinology, or urgent care setting
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a remote care setting or work-from-home environment
