Emerging Markets Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead regional market development: identify, evaluate, and execute high-value partnerships with banks across African markets (with potential expansion into Asia and Europe).
• Build and maintain key relationships: own relationships with prospective and existing customers; conduct in-person meetings and attend local industry events.
• Own partnership execution: manage complex deal processes from outreach through contract signature, coordinating with Legal, Compliance, and Product.
• Develop market intelligence: synthesize local market conditions, regulatory developments, competitor landscape, and customer needs to shape regional strategy.
• Market expertise and network: become an expert in correspondent banking for target markets and build a deep fintech/banking network.
• Drive operational excellence: design scalable onboarding, relationship management, and support processes for expansion.
