Endocrinologist

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemedicine clinical setting focusing on obesity and diabetes management
• Collaborate with APP colleagues and Registered Dietitians to co-manage patient panels
• Review charts and conduct visits for APP patients to ensure quality and continuity of care
• Provide advanced treatment planning for complex endocrinology cases and escalated concerns
• Prescribe non-controlled medications for obesity and diabetes
• Conduct weekly collaborative meetings and provide mentorship to assigned Endocrine-Specialized APPs
• Ensure clinical documentation and treatment pathways follow established guidelines
• Participate in team-based care initiatives and quality improvement efforts

Requirements

• ABIM board certification in Endocrinology
• Active and unrestricted medical license in CA, TX, IL, MA, NY, or an IMLC-participating state with a valid LOQ
• Current or prior credentialing with insurance payers
• Minimum of 5 years as an attending physician in endocrinology
• Competency in managing complex co-morbidities including CKD, ESRD, and CAD/CV conditions
• Expertise in advanced diabetes management including CGMs and insulin pumps

Preferred Qualifications

• ABOM certification or minimum 3 years clinical experience in obesity medicine and pharmacotherapy
• Experience working with APPs, medical residents, or trainees in a clinical academic setting
