Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design water and wastewater treatment systems, flood protection measures, and associated infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis to optimize water distribution networks and sewage systems.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success and integration of water systems with other infrastructure components.
  • Perform site investigations and environmental impact assessments for water-related projects.
  • Analyze and interpret data to provide innovative solutions for complex water engineering challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with local water regulations, standards, and environmental guidelines.
  • Participate in client meetings and present technical information to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in water engineering technologies and sustainable practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall growth of the water engineering team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in water and wastewater engineering projects, with a focus on treatment systems and hydraulic design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit, as well as other relevant engineering software packages.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data and provide innovative solutions.
  • Excellent knowledge of local water regulations, standards, and environmental guidelines.
  • Experience with hydraulic modeling and analysis of water distribution networks.
  • Familiarity with sustainable water management practices and environmental impact assessments.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
