Engineering Manager, Data Products

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product engineers building data analysis products
• Own technical execution and delivery of key product features ensuring scalability and performance
• Provide technical guidance in modern frontend technologies like VueJS
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Champion a culture of high quality through code reviews and rigorous reliability standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product engineering
• 2+ years of experience managing a team of engineers
• Proven expertise shipping reliable products with high-quality user experiences
• Experience managing incident response practices and on-call schedules
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and platform services like Heroku
• Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools such as DataDog
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SaaS or data-intensive environments
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO-27001)
• Experience with Python, Django, and VueJS
• Experience working in a remote-first environment
