Engineering Manager II

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow the careers of engineers across three distinct teams: Developer Experience, Performance, and Release.
• Set the vision and roadmap for developer productivity and drive the performance engineering practice.
• Own the release experience and scale fault-tolerant, tier-0 CI/CD systems to support complex environments.
• Partner with product, infrastructure, and internal CI teams to increase the efficiency of engineering workflows.
• Drive high-quality code delivery by managing tooling that prevents performance regressions and manages gradual rollouts.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a people manager, with a focus on mentoring and building high-trust teams.
• Experience managing multiple engineering teams, including managing other engineering managers.
• Strong track record in roadmap planning and project delivery in collaboration with partner teams.
• Deep expertise in system design and the ability to set technical standards for high-scale, reliable systems.
• Experience leading internal tooling, Developer Experience (DevX), or platform engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) systems and benchmarking.
• Background in working with AWS or large-scale cloud infrastructure.
• Experience building or managing developer-productivity-focused platforms.
