Engineering Manager, Language Security

About the Company

TuxCare offers a portfolio of security solutions for Linux and open-source software aimed at enterprise organizations, providing automated live vulnerability patching and Endless Lifecycle Support (ELS).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop four engineering teams totaling approximately 18 engineers across various language disciplines
• Set and enforce standards for CVE analysis, vulnerability assessment, and patch backporting processes
• Own SLA compliance and align team efforts with client expectations and delivery commitments

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience across multiple language ecosystems
• 3+ years of engineering leadership experience in a product company
• Solid Java experience and hands-on experience with security research or vulnerability analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of the security vulnerability lifecycle (CVE, CVSS, CWE)
• Background in open-source security or supply chain security
• Experience integrating AI tooling into research or patching workflows
