Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of distributed engineers to design and implement Ubuntu integration for IoT and server-class hardware platforms
  • Engage with commercial partners to deliver optimized Ubuntu experiences on their platforms
  • Develop team members through coaching, mentoring, and feedback
  • Oversee commercial engagements and ensure timely delivery of project milestones
  • Ensure commitment to strict quality and reliability standards
  • Align with internal teams on product architecture and roadmaps

Requirements

  • Experience working with Linux distributions and Debian packaging
  • Experience with high-performance, server-class hardware
  • Proven experience managing or leading a team of software engineers
  • Experience working directly with customers to resolve technical issues and meet business needs
  • Understanding of agile software development methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology field or equivalent
  • Effective written and oral communication skills in English
