Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5-10 engineers responsible for a specific product vertical
• Work with PMs and Designers to develop and execute a roadmap
• Help direct reports grow via technical mentorship, one-on-ones, and reviews
• Facilitate an independent, empowered, and high-performing team culture
• Help grow the engineering organization through interviewing and hiring decisions

Requirements

• At least 6 years of engineering experience
• 3+ years of experience in a management role
• Experience in a leadership role at a start-up
• Passion for building diverse and inclusive engineering teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bias towards action and a proven track record of execution
• Proven experience in developing process, culture, and morale
