Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the cross-functional Customer & Application team, managing software engineers, SDETs, a Product Owner, and a Security partner
• Partner with Product Management on roadmap and priorities, balancing business outcomes with technical health
• Deliver the roadmap from solutioning through to validation, including new product lines and legacy migrations
• Drive adoption of Agile processes and SDLC optimizations
• Accelerate AI utilization to improve engineer productivity and team throughput
• Mentor and grow engineers within an inclusive, psychologically safe culture
• Coordinate between development teams and shared services like Platform and Security

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• 4+ years of experience managing engineers
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and coding
• Experience with AI coding tools in production workflows
• Strong full-stack background with Java, Ruby, JavaScript, or React
• Experience with microservice-based architectures on AWS or GCP
• Fluency with Agile delivery models (e.g., SAFe)
• Proven track record of mentoring and developing engineers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as an Agile Scrum Master or Team Coach
