Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the technical aspect of a domain specific area
• Supervise, coordinate, and review work
• Estimate personnel needs and schedules
• Assign and review work to meet completion dates
• Evaluate performance, resolve complaints, and make recommendations
• Define, plan, and measure success metrics
• Remove technical and personnel hurdles for team success
• Coordinate with higher-level staff to set expectations and delivery goals

Requirements

• 5-8 years of relevant work experience
• Demonstrated advanced experience with domain area programming languages
• Track record of managing engineering product teams to drive results from complex requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React
• Advanced experience with Ruby, Rails, or Roda
• Advanced experience with Golang and Echo
