Engineering Manager, Security Platform

Responsibilities

• Grow and mentor a high-performing team of engineers
• Define the roadmap and technical vision for authentication, authorization, and access management
• Lead the development of centralized identity and access services, including IdP integrations and SSO capabilities
• Partner with Product, Mission, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to deliver foundational identity capabilities
• Drive adoption of access control standards and security best practices across engineering teams

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading and developing software engineering teams
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, access control, and secure system design
• 8+ years of software engineering experience building scalable, reliable distributed systems
• Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and make sound technical tradeoffs
• Excellent communication and cross-functional influence skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Active security clearance or ability/willingness to obtain one
• Prior experience building software for defense, national security, or intelligence use cases
