Job description
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of security engineers ranging from graduate to senior level
- Coach, mentor, and provide career development feedback
- Identify and measure team health indicators and implement disciplined engineering processes
- Represent the team and product to stakeholders, partners, and customers
- Drive certification efforts for FIPS, CIS, STIG, FedRAMP, and CRA
- Collaborate with industry partners including CIS and DISA on cryptography modules and system hardening
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM
- Track record of exceeding expectations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience developing and growing engineering talent
- Experience with FIPS/Common Criteria certified products and standards
- Experience with DISA-STIG or CIS benchmarks and audit/remediation tooling
- Knowledge of software and application security
- Solid agile development experience
- Ability to travel twice a year for company events up to two weeks each
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on domain knowledge of Linux cryptography libraries such as OpenSSL and GnuTLS
