Job description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of security engineers ranging from graduate to senior level
  • Coach, mentor, and provide career development feedback
  • Identify and measure team health indicators and implement disciplined engineering processes
  • Represent the team and product to stakeholders, partners, and customers
  • Drive certification efforts for FIPS, CIS, STIG, FedRAMP, and CRA
  • Collaborate with industry partners including CIS and DISA on cryptography modules and system hardening

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM
  • Track record of exceeding expectations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience developing and growing engineering talent
  • Experience with FIPS/Common Criteria certified products and standards
  • Experience with DISA-STIG or CIS benchmarks and audit/remediation tooling
  • Knowledge of software and application security
  • Solid agile development experience
  • Ability to travel twice a year for company events up to two weeks each

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on domain knowledge of Linux cryptography libraries such as OpenSSL and GnuTLS
