Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction, capabilities, quality, and capacity of the Beta Workflows team
• Manage and grow the engineering team, including recruiting and retention
• Write production-quality code and provide constructive feedback through design and code reviews
• Set consistent standards for code, testing, and bug fixing
• Collaborate with senior engineering and product leaders to align on roadmaps, specifications, and priorities
• Contribute to the broader engineering culture and leadership forums

Requirements

• At least 10 years of total experience with recent hands-on production coding
• Proficiency in Python (preferred), Java, C++, or Go
• At least 3 years of experience managing software development teams
• Hands-on involvement in system architecture, design, and performance
• Expertise in relational databases like PostgreSQL
• Experience with Django or similar web frameworks
• Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure
