About the Company
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead high-trust, remote-first engineering teams
- Own team roadmaps, project management, and delivery milestones
- Manage hiring plans, performance, and career development for direct reports
- Act as Incident Commander to drive coordination and post-incident reviews
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering background with deep technical credibility
- 3+ years of experience managing remote, globally distributed engineering teams
- Experience in cloud, SaaS, or developer tools industries
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with databases or developer tools
- Proven track record of navigating difficult performance management conversations
- Strong asynchronous communication and writing skills
