About the Company
Campus is seeking experienced, mission-driven, student-centered English Composition instructors to deliver high-impact, online courses. We are dedicated to creating meaningful learning experiences for students from all backgrounds, particularly those historically underserved by higher education.
Responsibilities
- Teach 11-week live, online courses using engaging, student-centered instructional strategies
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that promotes active learning and student participation
- Provide timely, constructive feedback and respond to student inquiries within 24 hours
- Host weekly office hours to deepen student understanding and build community
- Work with Teaching Assistants to co-manage the course and mentor them on grading and engagement
- Evaluate student progress, maintain grade records, and submit evaluations
- Collaborate with peers and staff to share best practices
- Stay current on pedagogical trends and the effective use of AI tools in the curriculum
Requirements
- Master’s degree in English, Creative Writing, Linguistics, or a related field
- At least 2 years of teaching experience at the college/university level
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom facilitation skills
- Proficiency with digital tools, LMS, and video conferencing
- Ability to effectively incorporate AI-powered educational tools into instruction
- Availability to commit 8-10 hours per week per course
