Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective communication between English and Farsi speakers by interpreting spoken words in real-time.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of interpretation by using industry-standard techniques and equipment.
• Adhere to confidentiality guidelines and maintain a high level of integrity during interpretation sessions.
• Continuously improve language proficiency and subject matter knowledge to better serve clients in medical, legal, and social services fields.

Requirements

• Fluency in both English and Farsi, with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong understanding of linguistics and cultural differences
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in medical interpreting
