English Language Learner Teacher

Responsibilities

• Build daily connections with students through proactive outreach via phone, text, chat, Zoom, and email
• Deliver targeted English Language Development (ELD) instruction aligned to student proficiency levels
• Analyze student data across reading, writing, listening, and speaking to adjust instruction
• Monitor student engagement and launch personalized interventions for struggling learners
• Provide timely grading and meaningful feedback to reinforce learning and build self-efficacy
• Maintain precise records of student progress and interventions
• Lead live sessions using provided curriculum and content
• Support proctoring during testing windows, including occasional travel

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in EL
• Valid teaching license with Multilingual Learner (CLD/EL or equivalent) endorsement
• 2+ years of experience teaching English Learners in a K-12 setting
• Ability to obtain certifications in Arizona, Colorado, Washington, and other assigned states
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Proficiency with Mac OS, Google Workspace, and learning management systems
• Ability to work a fixed schedule of 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Mountain Time

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of online teaching experience
