Job description

Responsibilities

  • Aggressively prospect and identify new district and agency opportunities across assigned territories
  • Meet or exceed activity and revenue goals, focusing on closing net-new accounts
  • Develop trusted-advisor relationships with key decision-makers including District Executive Leadership, SPED, HR, and Curriculum
  • Partner with sales leadership to execute state-specific go-to-market strategies
  • Build referral networks and leverage existing district success stories to accelerate growth
  • Provide market feedback to inform solution enhancements, pricing models, and procurement strategies

Requirements

  • 5+ years of successful K-12 sales experience with a track record of exceeding quotas
  • Strong knowledge of public-sector procurement and cooperative purchasing
  • Ability to influence senior-level K-12 executives
  • Highly skilled in crafting proposals and conducting executive presentations
  • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory for onsite sales demonstrations
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field
  • 2+ years of closing experience specifically within the K-12 market
  • Proven track record of identifying customer needs and implementing solutions
  • Passion for education and student support
