Job description

Responsibilities

  • Ensure programs and projects are delivered within schedule, scope, cost, budget, and resource expectations
  • Identify key technical and project risks and implement mitigating actions
  • Maintain strong customer focus and work with stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
  • Conduct regular status meetings and business reviews with customers
  • Manage the delivery schedule of critical third-party deliverables
  • Advocate for appropriate technologies from Canonical's portfolio
  • Drive project success while managing risks

Requirements

  • Experience in Enterprise IT Programs, Process Improvement, and Software Engineering Project Management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Experience leading cross-cultural, remote, and global project teams
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Deep understanding of Linux, Open Source, and Cloud Technologies
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline
  • Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent)
  • Agile Project Management certification (Scrum Master or equivalent)
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
