Environmental Principal

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing, managing, and growing a new branch office
• Recruit, build, and manage technical staff to support operations and project execution
• Develop client recruitment strategies and expand business opportunities
• Lead project management for Site Assessments, Remediation, Emergency Response, Natural Resources, EHS & compliance, Permitting, and Reporting Assurance
• Serve as primary contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff
• Participate in internal and external technical organizations

Requirements

• 4-year degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or related science
• 15+ years of experience in environmental investigation, remediation, permitting, or compliance
• Professional certification strongly desired (PG, LSRP, PE)
• Proven experience managing technical staff and project managers
• Proficiency in applicable regulations and guidance (PADEP, NJDEP, NYSEC, EPA)
• Desire to play a key role in growing the Pittsburgh metro office
