Environmental Scientist 2

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review environmental regulatory compliance permits and reports including stormwater, SPCC, and dewatering
• Provide technical oversight and perform project work, including analyzing field inspection records and stormwater diagrams
• Coordinate inspector schedules across multiple states and offices
• Coordinate laboratory activities, sample handling, and data review
• Review environmental legislation and determine impact on client activities
• Communicate with clients in preparation for and during site visits
• Travel for remote project needs across central US states (less than 15%)

Requirements

• BS in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field
• 2+ years of professional experience in consulting or industry
• Experience conducting SPCC and stormwater inspections, monitoring, and sampling
• Experience with NPDES, discharge permitting, and regulatory compliance report development
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Valid driver's license and a good driving history
