Job description

Responsibilities

  • Identify, map, and analyze clinical and business processes for assigned Epic applications
  • Perform workflow analysis and map critical business processes using industry best practices
  • Prepare documentation for business requirements using data flow and object models
  • Translate user requirements into functional and technical design specifications
  • Perform system configuration to meet business requirements
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for unit and integration testing
  • Provide client support training and develop training materials
  • Monitor system functionality and maintain product documentation including user manuals and troubleshooting guidelines
  • Manage application version upgrades and respond to user support calls

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in an IT or clinical environment
  • Experience with business process mapping, analysis, and acceptance testing
  • Must be certified in Clindoc and/or Grand Central
  • Must be willing to obtain Epic Case Management certification within 6 months
  • Experience with Epic or other healthcare applications
  • Proficiency in using applications, operating systems, and databases

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management experience with project management software knowledge
  • Strong understanding of change management practices and procedures
