Job description
Responsibilities
- Identify, map, and analyze clinical and business processes for assigned Epic applications
- Perform workflow analysis and map critical business processes using industry best practices
- Prepare documentation for business requirements using data flow and object models
- Translate user requirements into functional and technical design specifications
- Perform system configuration to meet business requirements
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for unit and integration testing
- Provide client support training and develop training materials
- Monitor system functionality and maintain product documentation including user manuals and troubleshooting guidelines
- Manage application version upgrades and respond to user support calls
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3 years of experience in an IT or clinical environment
- Experience with business process mapping, analysis, and acceptance testing
- Must be certified in Clindoc and/or Grand Central
- Must be willing to obtain Epic Case Management certification within 6 months
- Experience with Epic or other healthcare applications
- Proficiency in using applications, operating systems, and databases
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management experience with project management software knowledge
- Strong understanding of change management practices and procedures
