ESG Domain Expert - UAE

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise on ESG trends, standards, and regulations (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
• Advise clients on integrating ESG considerations into business strategy, risk management, and reporting.
• Stay updated on global ESG landscape, regulations, and investor expectations.
• Collaborate with the sales team to address client ESG challenges and create tailored solutions.
• Conduct ESG solution demonstrations for prospective clients.
• Support RFP/RFI responses with ESG insights, data, and content.
• Develop and customize pre-sales materials (presentations, brochures, case studies).
• Manage client relationships and build long-term value via ESG advisory.
• Work with product and technical teams on ESG service offerings.
• Translate client ESG needs into product features/improvements.
• Identify market gaps and propose new ESG solutions.
• Train internal teams on ESG concepts and market trends.
• Serve as the organization’s go-to ESG expert.
• Support clients with data collection, analysis, and ESG reporting.
• Leverage ESG technology platforms for reporting and management.
• Interpret and present ESG data to clients for informed decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or related fields.
• 6-9 years ESG sector experience, with at least 3-4 years in client-facing pre-sales or consulting.
• Deep knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards, and regulations.
• Proven pre-sales experience supporting the sales cycle for ESG solutions.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret ESG data and deliver business insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork.
• Experience with ESG data platforms and related technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or professional certification in ESG/Sustainability is an advantage.
• Previous experience in technology-enabled sustainability solutions.
