Event Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of events including meeting space, lodging, food, audiovisual, and transportation
• Coordinate external presenters and ensure readiness for scheduled event delivery
• Provide on-site administrative support such as registration, room setup, and attendance tracking
• Process event requests, attendee registrations, and travel requirements
• Submit required deliverables including Monthly Execution Reports and invoices
• Ensure services comply with Army Regulations, FAR/JTR travel rules, and federal standards
• Liaise with Unit Ministry Teams, event leaders, and the Contracting Officer’s Representative

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of event planning experience
• 3 years supporting senior-level (General Officer / SES / Corporate) events
• Experience managing federal government events
• Active Secret clearance
• Proven background in large-scale, multi-location event logistics
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and worldwide travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Government Meeting Professional (CGMP)
• Certified Meeting Professional (CMP)
• Equivalent certification in event management or hospitality
