Job description

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute Kickstarter's portfolio of brand, creator, category, industry, and community events
  • Translate strategic and creative concepts into clear event plans, production timelines, and budgets
  • Collaborate with Brand, Communications, and Growth teams to define event audience and success measures
  • Own end-to-end event operations including venues, vendors, staffing, and onsite execution
  • Source, negotiate with, and manage agencies, fabricators, and production teams
  • Manage event budgets with discipline and creativity to maximize impact
  • Partner with Marketing to extend event impact through content and social amplification

Requirements

  • Experience producing brand, cultural, or experiential events from concept through completion
  • Strong creative instinct and ability to execute physical or virtual experiences
  • Exceptional project management and budget-management skills
  • Established relationships with high-quality vendors and production partners
  • Strong negotiation skills and resourceful approach to budgeting
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Enthusiasm for Kickstarter's mission and creative communities
