EVP, Market Development

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the DoD market and contracts strategy, including prioritization of services, commands, and defense agencies
• Drive end-to-end business development and capture efforts, including opportunity identification and proposal strategy
• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with DoD officials and defense industry partners
• Develop and execute an integrated DoD market strategy aligned with enterprise growth objectives
• Lead pricing, deal structuring, and margin management for complex contracts
• Establish and manage teaming arrangements, alliances, and joint ventures
• Navigate complex corporate and political environments to align internal teams around growth priorities
• Foster a culture of accountability, speed, and mission-driven execution

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
• 15+ years of senior leadership experience in enterprise growth, government markets, or defense-adjacent industries
• Proven track record of winning and scaling Department of Defense contracts
• Deep familiarity with DoD acquisition processes and contracting structures
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
