Job description

Responsibilities

  • Own execution quality end-to-end by establishing reporting infrastructure and developing signals to optimize trading performance
  • Analyze execution reports to identify poor trades and execution quality issues
  • Build signals to improve execution performance, covering order-specific metrics and toxicity analysis
  • Perform low-latency order book analysis to optimize execution across global markets
  • Conduct pre- and post-trade transaction cost analysis (TCA) to benchmark performance and identify cost reduction opportunities
  • Collaborate with trading teams and data engineering to improve infrastructure and execution controls

Requirements

  • Strong command of execution signals and low-latency order book analysis
  • Proven experience building execution models
  • Background in proprietary trading, ideally in equities, currencies, or futures
  • Proficiency in Python and at least one low-level language (Rust, C++, or Java)
  • Degree in physics, math, statistics, econometrics, or computer science
  • Builder mentality with experience establishing infrastructure in growth-stage firms
  • Ability to work remotely with alignment across East Coast US to Singapore time zones
