FHIR/Digital Quality Measures (dQM) Lead

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact with CMS and federal stakeholders for digital quality measurement, FHIR, QI-Core, CQL, and interoperability topics
• Define and manage the technical direction for dQM specification across federal quality reporting program structures
• Lead translation of traditional measures into FHIR-based dQMs
• Direct activities spanning concept development, specification authoring, CQL and value set management, testing/validation, and annual program maintenance cycles
• Mentor and guide junior, mid, and senior-level technical and clinical staff

Requirements

• Master's degree in health informatics, computer science, public health, nursing, or related field
• 11+ years of relevant experience
• 7+ years of healthcare quality measurement experience, including hands-on authoring of QDM-based eCQMs and FHIR-based dQMs
• Working knowledge of FHIR resources and implementation guides such as US Core, QI-Core, and DEQM
• Familiarity with the CMS measure lifecycle
• Experience on federal (preferably CMS) contracts
• HL7 FHIR certification preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
