Field CISO, MENA

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers and prospects to deliver executive-level demonstrations and partner with strategic sales to implement solutions within customer environments.
• Evangelize Cloudflare’s technology platform to key market segments and deliver clear messaging to the market.
• Develop and implement a technology-informed go-to-market strategy for the MENA region.
• Build market awareness of key conditions and the competitive landscape.
• Represent Cloudflare publicly at industry events, conferences, and media engagements.
• Drive and contribute to business activities including business reviews, pipeline generation, and deal closure.
• Engage with strategic accounts, building strong relationships with senior decision-makers.
• Collaborate with Cloudflare’s Engineering, Product, and Go-To-Market teams to drive regional impact and adoption.
• Formulate tactical and strategic plans to increase technology awareness and contribute to company growth targets.
• Willingness to work remotely as required and travel (at least 30%) to engage with customers.
• Serve as a technical voice to evolve the product alongside solution engineering teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in IT, Cyber Security, Consultancy, Service Provider, or Telecommunications.
• Minimum of 3 years in a similar position.
• CxO-level relationships at business and technical levels.
• Strong cloud experience: SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, digital and cloud transformation.
• Proven background in Cyber Security, Security Operations, and IT Risk Governance.
• Advanced technological skillset with a proven track record.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
• Experience presenting at public forums and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in a tech start-up leading to significant growth or acquisition.
• Experience with web-scale organizations or large service providers.
• Proven leadership in building and managing high-performing technical teams.
• Experience leading organizations through digital transitions.
• Ability to articulate vision for change and manage it effectively.
• Strong industry knowledge and forward-thinking approach.
