Field CTO, Public Sector

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical partner to enterprise and public sector customers, interfacing with CIOs, CTOs, and government IT leaders
• Lead enterprise-scale architecture assessments and proofs of concept from scoping through delivery
• Translate customer modernization goals into executable AI-native roadmaps with concrete outcomes
• Advise customers on AI code-generation systems, software supply chains, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling
• Navigate compliance and security landscapes relevant to government procurement, such as FedRAMP, StateRAMP, and ATO processes
• Collaborate with Enterprise AEs and Customer Success to align technical strategy with commercial growth

Requirements

• Experience as a Field CTO, Chief Architect, VP of Engineering, or senior technical executive
• Deep, hands-on experience with AI code-generation models, toolchains, and autonomous development frameworks
• Proven track record leading enterprise architecture assessments and technical validation cycles
• Fluency in enterprise sales methodologies like MEDDPICC
• Exceptional executive communication skills for C-suite and government technical evaluators
• Experience guiding large-scale modernization or AI-adoption initiatives
• Ability to thrive in fast-moving startup environments

Preferred Qualifications

• History of implementing AI code-generation initiatives at scale within enterprise environments
• Prior experience supporting public sector technical sales cycles and compliance frameworks
• Familiarity with LLM training, inference optimization, and evaluation metrics
• Public-speaking experience or thought-leadership in AI engineering or enterprise architecture
