Field CTO

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic technical advisor to CTOs, chief architects and VP-level technology leaders across major global accounts
• Represent Sonar as a senior spokesperson at conferences, webinars, analyst briefings and executive briefings
• Enable executive relationships, identify and develop strategic technology partnerships and orchestrate complex client initiatives
• Create high-impact technical content: whitepapers, reference architectures, and advanced technical blog posts
• Feed executive-level product and GTM insights into Product Management, Architecture and GTM teams
• Support strategic sales cycles with technical validation, bespoke architecture walkthroughs and proofs-of-concept in customer environments
• Mentor and enable TA/SE teams and assist with senior technical recruiting
• Travel frequently to customer sites and Sonar offices globally

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Field CTO, Divisional CTO, or VP Solutions Architect experience at a major enterprise or leading technology/cloud provider
• Proven track record advising C-level technology leaders and influencing product or GTM roadmaps
• Demonstrated thought leadership in the SDLC, AI-enabled development, large-scale app security and modern engineering practices
• Experience building POCs and reference architectures for complex, production-scale environments
• Established professional network across enterprise technology organizations and partners
