Field Medical Director, Trainer

Responsibilities

• Facilitate scientific training for the field medical team regarding disease state, mechanism of action, and clinical trial interpretation
• Assist medical information in preparing the team for scientific milestones, data releases, and congress presentations
• Initiate scientific practice sessions including mock dialogues and objection-handling drills
• Lead new-hire scientific onboarding with targeted exercises
• Partner with field medical leadership to provide individualized coaching to enhance scientific fluency
• Strengthen team capability in identifying and communicating competitive intelligence
• Maintain an assigned geographic territory and execute all core responsibilities of an FMD
• Engage with KEEs through face-to-face and virtual meetings, congresses, and advisory boards
• Partner with Medical Communications, Publications, Clinical Development, HEOR, and Compliance

Requirements

• MD, PharmD, or PhD in Life Sciences
• Minimum 3 years of Medical Affairs experience
• Experience facilitating external relationships and interacting with stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated excellence in scientific exchange and evidence interpretation
• Experience with competitive intelligence collection and communication
• Ability to travel up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong background in renal or immunologic disease
