Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install and commission new mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems
• Troubleshoot and rebuild hydraulic systems, variable pumps, and centrifugal pumps
• Lead on-site project staff, including customer maintenance crews and external contractors
• Train customers and staff through classroom and practical applications
• Coordinate large projects involving crane operations, rigging, and plumbing
• Provide remote support to customers and coworkers

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a Field Service Technician capacity
• AAS or equivalent education/work experience
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical prints and PLC ladder logic
• Proficiency in electro-mechanical systems, PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
• Experience with ultra-high pressure or water jet cutting machines
• Previous work experience in a food processing facility
• Valid Driver's License and valid passport
• Willingness to travel 70% to 90% domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience installing multimillion dollar capital equipment products
• Proficiency in Excel and web-based databases
