Finance Specialist - Tax

Responsibilities

• Preparation and filing of VAT returns across multiple jurisdictions (UAE, France, Singapore, UK, Sweden).
• Assist with income tax planning and tax compliance for mobile employees, coordinating with internal teams and local service providers as required.
• Support in preparation of corporate tax and withholding tax (WHT) returns across multiple jurisdictions.
• Assist with corporate tax provisioning and management of tax accounts.
• Analyze financial data and prepare accurate tax records and reports using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft D365.
• Work closely with the Finance Team to provide and obtain necessary information.
• Conduct research on tax regulations to ensure compliance with local and international tax laws.
• Provide support during tax audits and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
• Maintain documentation and records for all tax-related activities, ensuring timely submission of all required tax returns and documents.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of VAT rules (UAE and international).
• Experience with preparation and filing of VAT returns.
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel for analysing financial data (VAT returns and tax reports).
• High proficiency in English.
• Well organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to take on other duties as assigned.
